This may not be the right spot for this question, but I have been couponing for a few months now and laundry detergent is something that just doesn't seem to go on sale as often as some other items (toothpaste, for example--I have enough to choke a horse...!)
Is $1.50 or even $2 (without the coupon) a great price for a 32 load container of detergent? Or is this a great deal just for those who love Purex?
I just feel like I have very little grounding for this and wanted to get some other people's read on it.
I think its a good deal because I spent $5+ before couponing on the cheapest bottle that did 52 loads. which is roughly .10 a load. And 1.50 for 32 loads is roughly .05. and purex is better then the cheapest stuff at walmart
Went to another store today and it wasn't marked on the shelf but there was a stand-alone display with all varieties on it, all marked $2.99 each (but no ECB). Forgot to look at sale dates. Anyways I got 5 and got the ECBs and my receipt says limit reached.
