They said"It was never our intention to make you buy both cream and gel"
"You only need to buy 1 of either cream or gel".
"None of our coupons ever make you buy 2 products".

It did beep and show product not found, but they put it through because I clearly had the correct product.
Feel free to call for your self and ask.
They were very nice!
Maybe we need a Mod to call and post to end this confusion.

Quote Be carefull with this coupon I tried to use it today and did not read it very well and it beeped and said item not found well the manager reads it as it says save $2 on Gel and cream 2. It was suppose to be $8.99 the sign said but rang up $9.49 so watch out I didn't notice until I left. I did get the $8 back. but paid more out of pocket because I had no small ecbs to use instead of the $2 off coupon. I did find another coupon I had printed some other time for $1 off any so may buy another one. Mine was in the isle with apercream and pain patches. They only had 1 at the store I was at. zmique

They shouldn't advertise stuff that they don't carry in a lot of their stores anyway.:hectic1:
If you have a book in hand, can/would they give you a rain check on it to get it from another store, I wonder??

My issue is that I have 2 CVSs that are both about 30 minutes away (opposite directions). One is in the Sunday/Saturday sales and the other is in the Friday/Thursday sales... makes it very confusing (or convenient), but I generally only get to one a week...just depends on what's going on. I do get jealous of all those that have lots of stores. I didn't get into ECBs until AFTER I moved.... I used to have lots and lots of stores to visit. I do tease my dh that we have to stop when we are going somewhere and we pass one...

I went on 8/31 and tried to buy 3, they told me 1 per customer, grrrr, that made me mad since I had my DD and she wasn't about to hear that!

The coupons themselves actually do say '1 per customer'. Some stores don't care and will let you use them in separate transactions, but some will not allow it. And then some just don't like customers walking out w/ several monitors at one time, regardless of what the coupon says. Sorry you had a hard time. Maybe we'll get lucky and get that coupon again before the sale ends. If we do, I suggest that you, your DD, and someone else all go in and each 'purchase' one. Or just make separate trips when there are different people working. It's a limit of 2 per card, so make sure that you don't try to do 3 on one card or you won't get the ecbs for the third one.

Now let's all cross our fingers for a new coupon this month...

ETA: Also, this deal is listed in the ad for 9/14-9/20 (9/12-9/18 test market). And it clearly says limit 2 per card.

Is $1.50 or even $2 (without the coupon) a great price for a 32 load container of detergent? Or is this a great deal just for those who love Purex?

I just feel like I have very little grounding for this and wanted to get some other people's read on it.
For a newbie, it's a good deal i'd say. Although I do prefer all so I will pay 2.00 for that, but I wouldn't pay more the 1.50 a bottle for purex. But seeing how I am sitting on 8 bottles of detergent now, i will probably pass on this deal. When a was few months into couponing, I ran out and got purex for 1.50 a/c at kmart, only to have it go on sale for .99 at hyvee a couple weeks later. I find purex goes on sale for 2.00 a lot where i live, so I have learned that it 2.00 or 1.50 a/c is not a stock up price, but a decent sale price if you need it at the moment. Of course i haven't seen on sale for .99 again, so that may not happen very often.

It might not work as good as Tide or others, but I like the smell, and for tough stains, I've gotten lots of stain removers for free or CHEAP recently! So it works for me!!
Me too. I use it all the time. The dye free/scent free is great for my little guy's clothes. He has sensitive skin and bad eczema. For the adults I don't mind using it either seems to work just fine. We also both work in an office building so we don't get too dirty.

Thanks for listing this. I was getting somewhat low on detergent and had been looking for a deal. I do use Purex so I was happy with this and I had 4 coupons so I bought 4 bottles.
