I think the coupons would work but at my store the cheapest mascara I could find was like 6.99 each.
I think she means buy a little something (like a pack of gum or a trial sized item) and it should update the deals at the end of your register receipt. If it says "Offer limit reached" then you can't do it again, but if it says "Number needed for ECB = 2" then you are good to go! HTH![]()

mjb607, here is how it broke down for me more specifically
5x$3.33 + 6.25% tax=$17.69
-$5 in Q
-$6.98 in ECBs
_____________
$5.71 cash OOP
I got back $5 in ECBS to spend on other stuff, so I really only paid (lost) $0.71 total for 5 products. Not sure where you're getting $1.33 for each, unless you don't have many ECBs to use. My boyfriend uses the hair gel and normally pays $3-4 for one, so this was a great deal for me. Hope that clarifies what I meant :)
Lucky you that your CVS had some. Not only did my store not have them, but there was absolutely nothing near any Stayfree product that was marked like there was a sale taking place at all. So I'll try again tomorrow........ and maybe they'll also have the Kotex pantiliners they didn't have! Otherwise, rainchecks!
Eww. I went today but that CVS didn't carry Rimmel so I'll have to go to a different one tomorrow. I'll try to post on what I found.
Did it yesterday and noticed the same, haven't reached my limit. got more q's so I going back, but I have so many paniliners that I'm giving them to a friend.

I talked with my store on Sunday - they said they are no longer receiving circulars to be put out for customers to use. From now on, they will only be getting a few and those are to be hung up in various places throughout the store. Apparently this is to cut back on printing costs....

Ok, making a last minute run tonight (test market here, so Friday-Thursday)...does this sound about right?
Kotex liner
$1.49(or $1.39?) - $1 CRT - $1 man = $0.51 overage plus $1.49 ECB
Softsoap
$0.99 each - $0.35 q x3 = $1.92
Playtex
$4.99 - $1.00 q = $3.99 plus $3.00 ECB
Stayfree
2/$9.00 - $4.50 (BOGO q) = $4.50 plus $5.00 ECB
Revlon
let's say I get 4 items that are $3.49 each - really only $6.98oop then since it's BOGO. I have four $2 q's, so this should give me $1.02 overage, right?
Without trying to break this up into separate transactions right now, I'm looking at $8.88-$3.00 ECB, so $5.88oop + tax, and earning $9.49 in ECB. Does that sound right?
