Ok I have some updates:

A. I am posting the high quality ad scans of the black friday ad.

B. Cvs's should be well enough stocked for this. On truck day (Tuesday) There were loads of extra totes of the same exact items in them, what were the items? Each item that is free after ECB on Thursday. So there should be enough stock for us all.

O AND, $10/$50 are printing today (11/19) at the scanner! I got 3 of them out of 4 cards. So there's a good chance you might get one. Perfect for the Thanksgiving sale!

I have been CVS-ing for about 4 months now and am wondering about Black Fridays at CVS.

I googled and found last years ad and it looks like a lot of Free after ECB.

Are there some great deals? Are they crazy busy at 5 am, or can I roll in about 9 and still get some good stuff?

Last year their Black Friday deals actually started on Thanksgiving Day. I was able to get the turkey in the oven and then run out a do a bit of shopping. Lots of free after ECB items and I didn't have to put CVS on my list of stops for Black Friday.

I agree with PP that last year's CVS sale was awesome! It absolutely was great to go out on Thanksgiving Day and not fight the crowds on Friday. I took fresh homemade goodies to the CVS clerks as they had to work that day.

To answer mea772..I think it is the same with all the other stores that offer huge sales, they want to get you in the door because statistically people won't buy JUST the cheap stuff, they'll grab something else too and then the store makes money. Now of course all of us smart HCW shoppers just grab the cheap stuff, but not everyone is like that. :) HTH!

I agree with everyone else on this! I LOVE the Black Friday sales that both Walgreens and CVS put out. I still have gallon zip lock bags from last years "Free after ECBs" sale! You get lots of free stuff with them. Lets just hope there is a $/$$ coupon at that time! :)

Not only did my CVS have the super FREE after ECB's sale, when I walked in on Thanksgiving morning there was a HUGE clearance table and everything was 90% off. There were nuts, m &m's, hair brushes, lint rollers, clothes, makeup, food products, and more! I got so much awesome stuff that day!

I have been to CVS on Black Friday for a few years in a row. I went later in the morning (probably 9 or 10 am), and had no trouble finding everything I wanted.
