the store I went to was out of the garnier towelettes. the manager told me that the other items work too. the face scrub and wash. maybe others too.

i already bought the towelettes but am wondering if I can go back and get the face wash too.. mor ecb's?

I had a nice experience CVS trippin' on Thanksgiving. I was in the shaving aisle and another shopper and I were both commenting on the Bic being out, when I noticed she only had one Colgate in her cart. I asked if the limit was 1, and that I thought the limit was 2. She said she only had 1 coupon so only buying 1. I handed her 2 $1.50 off Colgate coupons with a smile.

Later she ran into me in another section and offered me coupons for items that I didn't have coupons for. We met up another time and exchanged some more. I threw in a Blue Bunny ice cream $1 off for good measure (I like to hand those out - grew up 20 minutes away from corporate in Iowa). We both left happy, knowing there were complete strangers in the world that were willing to hand you something for free/no strings attached.

I got all my goodies, I also found the 5/2 cvs coupon for the duracell batterys, duracell is on sale for 2.99 a pack so for 2 packs at 1.06 i think is a pretty great deal.........

Great runs. I ended up hitting CVS 3 times in the past two days. I may end up stopping by today to see what's left. Never know what might go on clearance at the end of a big sale. Went in with $36 in ECB's, got close to $100 worth of stuff for free and got $65ish ECB's back. I did have to pay more oop than I expected because a couple things were not stocked, but there had been several CVSer's right before me, so it was o.k. I could've figured out a better plan to save more oop if I'd had the time, but the clock was ticking and I had to get home. Still, it was my best run ever!

In light of the scant potential for rolling all those ECB's over the next few weeks, I decided to spend some of them on Christmas presents. Got two Essence of Beauty shopping totes. (Supposed to be limit of one, but actually limit of two!) And I got the spa set. Spa set ECB's did not print, so I called corporate and they cleared things up immediately. I should be getting the courtesy ECB's on my next receipt print out. I am so impressed with CVS customer service! They are always so helpful. They really bend over backward to make sure things go just right for us couponers. No trouble with cashiers either. They all seem to know the drill and don't mind pushing coupons or ECB's through when something beeps unexplainably.

YAY! Lots of Christmas gifts for free!

I had a great 1st time doing CVS black friday deals. It took me about 40 minutes, and my DH was in the car waiting (not very patiently, but oh well....free stuff is worth the wait). i went thursday morning at 10 am and my store was already out of the razors, and was running low on other things too. I got everything I wanted, minues the razors, for $10 oop, and got $18 in ECB's, but I started out without any ECB's. Then yesterday I went back to pick up something else, and there was a sign saying they were out of the razors, but would give rainchecks. So i got a raincheck, and when I asked about the ECB's with the raincheck.....I was shocked and happy when the sales lady said I got the razors for FREE with the raincheck. WOW! Thanks everyone for the help!

Does anyone know about getting rainchecks on the BF deals? One manager told me I couldn't have a raincheck for any of the BF sales... but, I didnt see that in the ad. So, looks like no soliel razors for me!

My store gave me a rain check for the razors and the ear buds. I guess they have a new system where they give you the raincheck and when you go back to get the item the ECB's print as if you had bought it during the sale. Too cool and another reason to love CVS.

The ad states you just can't have a raincheck for an item they don't normally carry, which I took to mean seasonal. All of these free-after-ECB items were regular shelf items, so you should be able to get a raincheck!
