CVS ECB deals ~ 9/28-10/4: *added pics and updated*

why oh why do my scenarios never work according to plan....

My plan:
1 Fusion 9.99
4 colgate $10
4 coke $13
1 CG Clean $5.49
2 Dawn $1.98
sub 50.45
- 10/50
- 4 gillette
- 4 colgate
- 1 colgate crt
- 6.50 bogo coke qs
- 2.00 2 $1/1 coke qs
- 1.00 CG
- 1.00 Dawn (2 .50/1)
Total AC 20.95
pay with $20 ecbs
.95 oop get back 20.49 ecbs

So....got...
Gillette no problem
Colgate...the MaxFresh was on clearance, so none of my qs would work. So, I couldn't use my $4 in colgate qs
the 2nd $1/1 coke q would not go through & the AM would not push it through
CG no problem
Dawn no problem
Then...I actually found the Christophe with peelies on them...so I bought 3 (only 2 had peelies)..total $14.97.
AM scanned my ecbs in REVERSE order, so my $10 one would not go through, she gave it back to me. I didn't want to be a pain in the a$$, so I just took it back instead of asking her to void all the ecbs & ring the $10 first.
Decided I did not want to call corp for my .03 on the Christophe deal, so I went to 4 more CVS in search of the elusive peelie and finally found 1 more.

So, I got everything in my original scenario + 4 Christophe + .50 candy (filler)
I paid $8.79 cash oop, used 14 ecbs total $22.79 (including tax)
and got back $22.79 in ecbs.

How funny is that!!

Then I wanted to run around to every freakin CVS (a ton) in my area to look for my peelies, so I could do the Christophe deal again...but I figured I would spend more than $5 in gas to go find all the Christophe with peelies so I could get the $5ecbs.

Oh well, paid more oop than I wanted to, but I'll get em...lol

I usually do to, but this AM scanned everything in reverse order. I gave her my $10 ecb first (my largest one) and she scanned it last. Oh well, oddly it still worked out where I paid $8.79 in cash including tax, $14 ecbs and got back $22.79 in ecbs.

I'd never be able to do that again if I tried.

I had no problem using mine at CVS today! I also live in an apartment and these are a life saver for storing things!

I found a store that had 20. So I bought 20 handrenewal and 1 reg. I paid .50 + tax. and got my $10 coupon.

You might check by Pantene beautiful lengths shampoo or conditioner for $2 cvs qs ($3 -2[scans at $1 so be alert] - 1 man q this weekend= ~8 cents tax)

Lately my CVs only lets me use one BOGO per transaction so I had to break it up. Still a great deal though.
BTW if you want to do this deal HURRY! Last week the stores ran out of the Pepsi Max midweek...
