So for example, if someone was planning on trying this on Saturday, but hadn't yet, they would be informed that the deal wouldn't work on that day, which could only help them plan their shop better.

But you are missing my POINT >the "sale starts SUNDAY"NOT SATURDAY!< So for those of you trying to get ahead of the game, and at my stores; clearing the shelves, if you follow the "rules" you would have no problems.

Did anyone get the $11.99 Revitalift with $11.99 ECB? I went to 3 CVS stores on Friday (I'm in a test market) and none had them. I can't see how they ran out so fast unless they only had like 2 to begin with... Made me mad... I asked the cashiers to check and they said they didn't have more in the back. Sounded fishy to me.
I went to 4 stores yesterday to get my newspapers and they all had plenty of them. It seemed like they ordered extra or something. I was actually very surprised that all 4 stores had plenty!!!

Sorry you have shelf clearers, that does stink and makes it hard to do your shops. In fact, someone else posted that their manager said someone came in and bought 6 of them on different cards. That's just wrong and unfair. I'm surprised the manager didn't stop them. I think it would have been within the store's right to do that.
Not everyone that shops Saturday is a shelf clearer though, I only bought 1.
I think it is interesting b/c I KNOW I did a deal once before on a "Sun Mon only" ECB deal and it generated the ECB on Saturday. But I guess they "fixed" that now. That too is good information for us non shelf clearing Saturday shoppers to have.
I went yesterday afternoon and got it and the ECB printed, no problem. I went with friend to different store last night, and it was gone. Clerk said chances of getting it today are no too great.

By the way, my store had 3 huge displays with dozens of the Loreal. Neither the wife or I are old, so we take stuff like this we don't need and will donate them (like we will for the monitors in Oct.). We just got the revitalifts for the $3 money maker and to roll ECBS
