you are sooo better than me I probably would have wanted to say a couple of choice words to the manager. I am very sick of people thinking what we are doing(saving money legally) is fraudulent...just because they are not smart to do it. I realize now that I'm a stay at home mother trying to stretch every dollar that my husband was bringing home and at one time feeling really guilty for staying at home and not working(LOL) ; there is a system set up. You can use the system and save an enormous amount of money-----or----you can be like 90% of our population and pay full price for things.

Oh heavens sweetie you did so well! I am so proud of you for not climbing behind that counter and smacking the ever living snot out of her. I second what everyone else says and be sure to let CVS know that you are considering filing a BBB complaint and you are letting our local fellow shoppers know just how "unfriendly" CVS in your area...I like to let them know that it is also going in my blog...companies hate to get bad write ups in blogs.

Wow - Cin... amazing that you remained so calm about it :) Good for you... some people... sounds like the store managers in my area. I have been in your position before where afterwards, I felt so mad that I was shaking.

I think the store manager at one of the CVS's in my area got soo many complaints over the last 5 years (and their horrible cashiers)... that I finally saw a poster board saying how he's committed to good customer service etc etc and if any customer has a problem to call him on his CELL phone... and that number was displayed there. He was that mean and rude about cpns, sales anything. He would try to refund customers less than what they paid for a product... it's was ridiculous... we aren't even talking about B1G1 cpns on a B1G1 sale. Your store manager was way out of line. She could have definitely handled it better. I think some people are just not suited for this type of job - they just can't handle it properly.

Hope her district manager does something about this... it was wrong and rude of her.

Thank you all so much. I hate being made to feel like a criminal . Hindsight is definitely 20/20, but I keep coming up with things I SHOULD have said lol:

Like...Really? You're your own boss? Since when did CVS become privately owned?
I'm sure your District Manager would love to know you think you can't get in trouble?

The greatest thing of all would be this week when you can go in there w/ some of the $4 razor coupons... I would wait until I KNEW the lovely lady was working and request to speak to her.

One way to get back at her, she serves you. She is not her own boss. I would make that woman help me every chance I could!!

One of two things will happen...

1. Tick her off even more
2. She will realize you are the customer and you WILL be in the store shopping frequently and build a relationship w/ her?:shrug7:

Either way I am curious to find out the out come of this...

Well, I just got off the phone with CS :) The woman I spoke to was so nice, and when I told her I had problems in one of the stores she said "was it about BOGO coupons" LOL she started laughing. Im assuming there were alot of complaints today about it. She especially loved the managers comment about she's her own boss. She said hmmm well she CAN get in trouble especially when she is rude to customers. She is going to call the district manager immediately and took all my info and said I WILL NOT have any more problems there

I feel you!!! I had a run in at CVS on Saturday. Thank Heavans for C/S and fellow HCW members!!! Made me feel like a criminal and in front of about 20 people.
