i am pretty upset with the cvs mgr,i had 4 life saver coupons,so i got 8 lifersavers at 2.19 each making it 17.52 and three 1.00 hershey bars making it 21.52 thinking that it will be giving me 10.00 ecbs,it printed only 5.00 ecb,talked to the mgr,said that he could not do anything,i told him that i will call cs tomorrow,then he turned around and asked me how he can help me,i was already mad as he was kind of condescending at first,did not want to make a scene,so i just left,he will not be getting my bus anymore for sure,not really because of the deal not going right but because of his behavior.

Normally, I have no problems with b1g1 if I am careful not to completely max out a deal & clear out the shelves all at one time and if I write the price on the coupon. Now I am the coupon lady who tried to scam them & then argued about it. Great. So much for the radar & flying under it.

boy you and i must have shopped at the same freaking store, my cashier wouldn't even ring them up, she is a old bitty anyways but she said are you going to use the coupons from the newspaper. of course i said yes. she said they don't work and only one bag will count towards your total.

I told her thats why i brought 10 bags up here grabbed 2 and says that counts as one, then grabbed another 2 and said this counts as 2 and so on.

she said your already getting them at about a dollar a bag. she said they were already bogo so i couldnt use the coupon.

I kindly explained that the mfg was paying for one and cvs the other and i am paying the tax. She still said no.

i was pretty fumed i told my kiddos put them back on the shelves she said you sure you dont want them they are only a dollar a bag. I said no i wasnt planning on spending that much for those sorry.

I left. I have never had problems with bogo q before at that store except with her. i am definately calling cs tomorrow.

before the sale i asked them to order me some, she said they didnt order them because there is a limit to the amount they can order. o well i will try to avoid that cashier at all costs

That's because you need two orange ones in order to use the BOGO coupon. If you had orange and some other flavor, the coupon doesn't work. Two oranges would have worked.

Aha! You're right--I only got 1. So whaddya think: go through one evening with 8 bags (I just want to complete 1 of these deals at this point & be done!), 4 orange, 4 other. This way, it won't beep for the first 2 coupons, so I won't get the "oh, you can only do 1 coupon, that's why it's beeping" nonsense because it worked for two of them, but I can at least get the gummies suggesting a force. Or do you think that's just inviting trouble? Probably is. Which are the other 2 flavors that work?

My cvs had an issue with the sours this morning too. But they ended up refunding me all my money for them plus my coupons since i had the qs i got more then just what was needed for the deal. so they ended up giving me a money card for 15.90 since it was easier then voiding it and all my qs and redoing it all. But none of the sours worked and the mints didnt eaither. i didnt have any beeps with the qs thoough so that made me hapy.

Went to 2 more CVS's today. Cremesavers were not allowed at all! Managers at both stores said they were not Lifesavers Brand and were not pictured on the coupons. I did manage to get some Tropical ones at one of the stores this time, though. I finished up my deals with Tropical/Mint/Orange Mint and 5-Flavor Lifesavers. I am finished, done, el-caputo and don't want to deal with this DEAL again! 20 bags is my limit! LOL!

I dunno how a $$/$$$ would work on this since the coupon adjusts how much you pay for it.... and in the ad it states no other discounts apply or something to the like..
anyone try it out for real yet??
