Just wondering I read a post around here where someone suggestion having cashier cover or fold barcode to only scan the first part and it won't beep. I pray it's ok to talk about this since this is where I read about it. Has anyone tried that and does it work. I've seen cashiers do that at the grocery store when they have trouble with a coupon. It works, yes, sometimes. My cashiers @ Target do that all the time; it seems to be a part of their training. My favorite CVS cashier does it also - he will bend, cover, straighten.....whatever he needs to do to get a q thru; then he will enter it manually if nothing worked.

I just hope my 90 bags found their way onto the truck safely & don't get involved in some sort of highway accident (It's been a bad month here -at this point, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the truck was abducted by candy-loving little purple men in silver suits!!)

I went in today to see what the stock looked like and exactly what the item was (haven't been in a cvs for over a year) and none of the 4 stores I went to had more than 5 on the shelf :(

Question... As a newbie just wondering if I should use my .75 coupon on the Duracell batteries that are going on sale for 2.99? Use or wait til a better deal? Coupon expires 7-31-2008 I would have to get before thurs...
