I can tell you right now the american express gc will not be a moneymaker. I stopped in CVS today and picked up TWO $100 visa cards. They are for my two children to do their back to school clothes shopping with. (In addition to $50 cash each...I'm trying to teach them money management...it has to cover all bodily items...underwear, socks, undershirts, bras, makeup, jewelery, ect.). The cards come with an activation fee. The fee varies according to the card increment. For visa, $100 incurred a $5.95 fee, $50 incurred $4.95. American express and MC ran $1 more.

My bank does prepaids for free.. several of them around here do, I know when I prepaids first came out I paid for a visa bux so the kids could view there accounts online and we could have there names on them (yes that was a BIG deal) but now the bank sends us ones with there names on them for free! I don't think we can check the balance. I was considering buying the card just for the ECB, but not no more! Thanks for the info!

That coupon is not a printable. Some are, but not that one. The database is just a listing of what coupons were in what week's inserts. It makes things easier so you don't have to search through every page of every insert to find the one coupon you're looking for.

The easiest way is to buy the newspaper, maybe even multiple copies, every week. Or ask your friends and family members if you can have their coupons, that way you don't even have to spend the money on the paper. Keep them. All of them. Even the ones you don't think you will use. I clip the ones I know I will use and file the rest away until I need a coupon for a deal.

If there are multiple papers available in your area it might take some time to decide which one has the better coupons. They are not always the same! My local paper has smaller coupon inserts than the nearest big city paper. Sometimes even that paper doesn't get a coupon I want.
