I am done with CVS!

Today at CVS I tried to use the B1G1 coupon with the B1G1 sale for the lifesavers. The cashier refused to let me use the coupon because "the coupon cannot be used with any other promotion" according to him. I tried to call customer service and they are closed because of the holiday. I will shop at Walgreens from now on.

Call customer service when they open on Monday. That cashier is wrong. Even if you never go back... at least get them corrected

No MOD? If they are close enough, go back later and hope for a different cashier or go to another location if you can. (But still call CS and let them know).

My coupon wouldn't go through at first. Cashier said it was only for those in the picture (I wanted the blue bag). I pointed out it said any, but didn't feel like arguing with a line building up. I grabbed the orange bags instead and it went through like a charm.

I will contact them on Monday. If we do not let cashiers know they are wrong, then the problems will never get corrected. I get tired of cashiers who are too lazy to get a coupon to work. Not saying all cashiers are lazy, but some cannot be bothered to actually do "extra" work. Customer service just is not what it used to be.

Some can't even be bothered to do regular work, much less extra work!

But, some cashiers are totally awesome, too. That's why when I get a good one, I call. I don't feel bad about calling when I get a bad one because of this.

I would have to travel too far to go back. I do not have a CVS in my town. I wish customer service would have been open. I called when we stopped to eat lunch and would have gone back after eating if the problem had been resolved.

There are many awesome cashiers and I usually compliment them in person and have called customer service to praise them. I have often spoken to the manager in restaurants to compiment waitresses.

my cvs run stunk today. they wouldn't let me use the sticks - coppertone- for the sunscreen deal and they wouldn't let me use 2 q's for the lifesaver deal. :(

How did they deny the coppertone deal? The ECBs would print automatically wouldn't they? I could not find the Coppertone sticks.

My CVS cashier was grumpy today too. There were two people in front of me that had trouble using their debit cards and when I had trouble too she looked at mine like I had stole it. I was waiting for her to try and keep it. Me, her, and the pd would have had a nice conversation. She didn't like my coupons but took them. I just chalked it up to her being a grouch since she had to work on a holiday.

Btw, I couldn't find the baby sticks or the lip balm either :(
