Cheryl | I'm not sure if you are really supposed to or not. Think dog food is more made for what a dog needs in his diet. Here where we live there's dumpsters everywhere, so even well fed cats still eat out of them on occasion. We have several dumpster kitties that now call here home. I just figured if I can get a deal on some "back up" food in case we run out and can't get anything for several days. Money's tight here and sometimes you just have to get what you can get. Our cats are pretty lucky and usually don't go hungry for more than an afternoon. Not to mention the pretty steady supply of fresh meat (read birds, mice, snakes, lizards, grasshoppers, ect.). I just figured something would be better than nothing. Wow, that ended up a bit long. |
