CVS Gold Emblem water for $1.09 and then use $1/1 CVS brand item so 9 cents!

But right now I have so many EXB's rolling that I don't generally need any to print for that day's purchase.

Default Filler Question

I hear people talking about fillers, and I read the FAQ, but still am not too sure what they do.. Can someone answer this for me? I am getting prepared for my first CVS spending trip after my $10 ECB prints on 10/17. And does anyone have any suggestions to getting a lot of ECB's with that $10 ECB that I will use? And how much OOP I will need to have? I have 2/$2.50 off Tampax, and am waiting on the TP coupons to come, but that is about it. I need advice! :)

Default Re: Filler Question

fillers are the little items you use to get your $$ total up to a certain point to use a coupon, and to get your item count high enough to use all of your coupons.
Heres a few very basic scenarios
if you are buying items to earn EB but your total is going to be $19.02. if you buy a filler that costs $1 you can now use a $5/20 coupon. so spending that extra dollar saves you 4.

also, if you are using more coupons that items, the register is programmed not to accept them. The "register logic" doesnt understand that there are allowable things like cvs and mfr coupons used for same item etc. it just thinks 5 items, 5 coupons and the cashiers can only force so many "extra's through before the register refuses to take any more.
so by buying a few items that cost pennies, will allow you to use more coupons. but check the register logic post to get the full detail. its very clear and detailed.

Default Re: CVS FILLERS: Trials Sizes and Everyday low prices

Just did the Nabisco rebate w. all the fig newton 8oz packs I bought as fillers the last month and a half.

Found a nice small round rubbermaid snack container which is the same as the set we have for 49c.

Chapsticks can be used toward the Wyeth rebate.

The cashier did me a favour when I was short the other day and grabbed a small cvs pocket pac of tissues which sit on or near the counters. I think they're around 50c. I plan to stock up on those this winter, 6 kids makes lots of runny noses, esp when we're out in the cold.

Hi
In my area on any CVS brand item, $1 off coupon is available at the door. Can anyone give me any suggession , what are the CVS brand items are below 1$. I just want to use the coupon sometimes. I am confused wandering in every aisle, figuring which CVS item is below 1$.

From the CVS FAQ:

I have a coupon good on "CVS brand items". What does this apply to?

CVS labeled items (of course!), Gold Emblem, Lumene, Life Fitness and Essence of Beauty.
