Re: I have a question for CVS employees Some stores will write you the raincheck for the sale price of the item and then when you do get to purchase it you can call and get your ECBs to print. Some will write it for you to just get the item at the sales price minus the ECBs you would have gotten (so free for the gatorade since it's $1.29 w/ $1.29 ECBs), and I've heard of a couple of really great stores that will ring up the item and let you pay for it, even though it's not in stock, so that you can pay for your deal the way you planned, and then issue you a raincheck to pick up the item for free when they get it back instock, w/ the raincheck showing that you've already paid for the item. It's completely YMMV, though, b/c I haven't found any of my stores that are willing to do it that way. It would really save a lot of grief w/ re-figuring my deals if they'd do it that way. :( |
