CVS $/$$ question

If I have a $5/$25 printed coupon for the flu quiz, and a $5/$30 coupon that was spit out by the card scanner in-store, can I use them both on a single $30+ purchase?

No, you cannot. You would have to buy $30 and $25 in 2 transactions in order to use them both. If I am not mistaken, at the bottom of each you can find words to the point of something like it cannot be used with any $/$$ CVS coupon. Basically, they cannot be combined.

It's been awhile for me but I was told if you buy $55 in stuff you could use them both in 1 transactions since you met the requirement for them already.

Our Longs just got converted to CVS so this may not be correct, but I have been allowed to use as many CVS coupons as the computer would take. I told the cashier that I was surprised that she was letting me use several store coupons (similar to what you mentioned) in one transaction. She said that they can keep taking them until the register beeps. I am not sure this is company policy. It may just be that they have no idea what is going on. I usually know more about the ECB and CVS coupons than they do.

That is not company policy. A few years ago there were many stores that would allow you to keep handing coupons over until it beeped. There were many $/$$ printable coupons online and CVSing was way easier. This system was abused by some and it ruined it for all. That is where the crappy email coupons that beep, the new wording at the bottom of the coupon, and the Per Household wording came from. The one good thing is it got rid of some of the "smash and grabbers" that ruined it.
