If you have an ECB that's going to expire then you should try to buy something that will generate more ECB's but, if there is nothing to roll it on then just buy something that you need.

This is my first post. I just read the how to CVS and I want to say a big Thank you for the step by step. I kind of understood the ECB thing but had not thought it through to the "making money" part. Thanks again for all of the help on this wonderful site.

You would not get 4 separate ECB's. You would get one for $19.96.

There used to be a person who sold just the inserts but, I don't think there is anyone now. You can purchase the newspapers and/or ask friends and family to save theirs for you.

it would NOT be worth it. you do NOT get extra care bucks for on-line orders. they are highly overpriced unless you get the bucks back.

If I have a $3/$15, is the $15 total before or after manuf. coupons?

I have been giving my manuf. coupons first, to get my total to above $15, then having them scan the $3 coupon. If I could have them scan the $3 coupon first, to make my total $12.xx before manuf. coupons, I would be so happy!

My CVS store did not have enough of ECB promotion item in stock to make my purchase reach the amount ($10) required to earn ECB. How do they handle that when I get a raincheck?

Since the advent of the instantly printing ECBs, the stores should write the raincheck for the price of the item AFTER ECBs would have been earned.

EX: If an item was on sale for $6.99 with a $4 ECB, the raincheck should be written for $2.99. If the item was on sale for $3.99 with a $3.99 ECB, the raincheck should be written as FREE AFTER ECBs.

I read this, but today my cashier gave me a rain check for the Oral B Vitalizers that says $6.99...no mention of the $6.99 ECB. What should I do now???

I appreciate any help you can give me. Today was my first CVS trip! :)
