QUESTION Question about an email coupon I received today

I got an email coupon for $4/$20 today. My first. It says this at the bottom:

* Valid thru 7/27/2008. Maximum $4 value. Valid in-store only. Limit of one purchased-based savings coupon, i.e., $4 off $20 purchase, per transaction. Your ExtraCare card must be presented to receive these savings. Tax charged on pre-coupon price where required. No cash back.

Does this mean that I can print this more than once to use multiple times?? It was the "per transaction" that confuses me.

The way I read it is that you can only use one Q per transaction. However, I would love to read others' take on this.

I also read it as one $/$ per transaction (whether it be $4/$20 or $5/$30 etc)... so you can't stack them anymore - at least that's how I read it. Not sure what their intention was... probably wording changes due to some of the abuse of people stacking $/$ beyond their intention.

As for printing it multiple times? I can't tell by the wording. It didn't say one per customer. But I guess it depends on your store.

Thanks. I thought I would see what others thought or have personally tried. If I am able to print multiples and use more than once, I will post back and let you know!

Please post about your outcome. I got this exact same email and was questioning the wording as well.

well if you compare it to other coupons you can see the difference. For instance I have the 3/15 coupon that was on the pharmacy counter Exp 7/27/08. it is white card stock with a red border on top. It states:

"Limit one coupon per customer.coupon cannot be combined with any other cvs/pharmacy coupons. This coupon is not transferrable. "

Soooo if you finish your order up and pay, then start a new order are you considered a new customer?

Take coupon #2- Save $5 on any photo book- expired 6/29/08. This one states:

"Original coupon must be relinquished at the time of purchase. Coupon is void if copied, transferred and where prohibited by law"

Result? the second coupon states nowhere "one per customer" or "one per transaction", BUT it DOES state give up the Q at time of purchase.

just wanted to throw a few more coals in the fire..

the other email coupons are tied to a specific card and can only be used one time. I would assume that this coupon follows that pattern.

My opinion on this is that it really should only be used once but, there is nothing on there prohibiting you from using it more than once. The "one per transaction" wording means you can't you another $/$ coupon along with this one.

Printing this and using it multiple times is just going to bring more attention to yourself and I'm a fly-under-the-radar kind of gal so I wouldn't do it.
