A word from your Admin about CVS Printable Coupons (Please Read)

To our CVS shoppers,

This is a quick note to let you know that we received a legal notice on behalf of CVS with regard to the company's email printables to remove them from our site. We're not the only site that has received the notification this weekend. The following is our response to the notification.

Just as we take copyright very seriously when it comes to items that our members have posted on our site being used elsewhere, we also respect the copyright concerns of others as well. CVS in fact feels that having the printables hosted at our site, even though the links lead directly to the company, does indeed meet the legal test for copyright enfringement. In response, we are going to honor the notification to remove the links from our site as a courtesy to CVS. We value the offers that the store puts our for its shoppers....our members...and we will respect the integrity of the request.

As I am sure some of you may have seen, the new wording on the emails is very specific about how the email printables are going to look at CVS from here on in. You are welcome to discuss them at the site, however, please refrain from directly posting them as they have requested. Good deals are right around the corner, and this change is merely a blip on the couponing map of how many other great offers our favorite stores continue to make available to us.

We appreciate your patience as we've worked through this issue and we appreciate that you'll help us meet the request.

Thanks for sharing that with us. CVS has always been very generous in their coupon rules, we respect their to right to tighten up. We also understand why they had to re-evaluate their position. (Widespread use of the internet, and forums where people can share and print everything) is a far cry from the past, when sharing was mostly between family mambers and frieinds.
