CVS: What did you get? Weekly CVS Cash Register Tape coupons!

I bought 2 packs of Huggies Pull Ups and got a $2 off any Huggies wipes. So these can be combined with manuf Qs? It says "Extra Care Coupon" on it.

I think I just read in the FAQ's that according corporate, you can combine a manf. q with a CVS q.

Today I scanned my card and got a $6/$36 purchase and two $3/15 CVS Brand.

$1.50 on Men's Speedstick Pro (and I believe I saw a report that the Pro kind was working for this week's deal, buy 1 for $2.49, get 1 ECB... free deo)
$1.50 on Colgate total twin pack toothpaste
$1.50 on any Irish Spring body wash
$1.50 on any Maalox or Gas-X
$2 on Advil Cold and Sinus

um i have never gotten a coupon on my register tape. and also have never swiped my card at magic coupon machine more than once. didnt know i could! once i scanned it and it said come back tomorrow but that was the first time.

last week i got a $6/$36 but it expires this week and i dont even want anything there this week ugh!

Well, this was easy. Do you know that you can shop on Saturday for the next week's sales? Some CVS switch to Sunday's sale on Saturdays and they run both weeks' sales at the same time. You could have gotten 1 Nova Max meter, which would have given you $9.99 to start with. Glade deal was excellent last week and the limit was 3. And this week, they have the ear rinse for free, so between the meter and the rinse you would have been up to $17.98 in freebies. You would only need to find $18.02 in other stuff to reach $36. Of course, I do not know what mq you have, but with 2 freebies this week, it sounds pretty easy to reach $36.

Ekoury gave you good suggestions ^^. I also suggest you start collecting rainchecks, especially for the freebies, even if it isn't something you'll use. They make for good belated filler for weeks when you have a $/$$.

OMG! Got a "$5/$15 3 day only" from register tape after making a small purchase. Scanned the magic machine first before the purchase, but had gotten nada. Also got a $25 prescription Q! I guess they want you to buy something first before they'll give you any discounts now!

Well I felt like a kid at Christmas today. As soon as I walked into my CVS this morning my favorite cashier greeted me and told me to go and scan my card on the new scanner. When I looked where she was pointing, there it was. Woohoo we finally received a Coupon scanning machine at our store. So of course, I almost ran over and this is what I received when I scanned my card:

$2 off any Viologie hair care
$1.50 off Sensodyne 4 oz. + Iso-Active
$5 off any Photo Greeting card purchase
$2.00 off any 2 Dove hair products

My register tape also gave me:
$2.00 off any 2 Mennen Speedstick

Now here is my question:

How often can I scan my card and if I do it more than once in a week will I receive the same coupons or different ones. My CVS cashier & manager want to know also.

Good for you! You can scan your card every day until the scanner says no coupons available check tomorrow. However, you are not going to receive good coupons every time you scan. Usually, CVS puts out new coupons on Mondays. The last 2 coupons you'll receive after the good ones will be for CVS products and those are the everyday coupons. You can scan your card every day and you will receive those. The good coupons are usually once per week, sometimes nore often. When I say "good coupons", I mean Dove, Colgate, Viologie, etc... Sometimes you will receive $/$$. I got the Dove coupons, and the the Speedstick ones this Monday too.
