I didn't realize until after the fact that the last 4 mentos gums didn't count torward my $15 needed for the $5 ECB's. She rang them up as non taxable items, so I needed to buy 4 more gum. Had I noticed it then, I would have asked her to adjust the first transaction rather then buy more gum. I think that may have been because I had over 10 of the same coupon. The 11 one beeped and she entered the rest manually.

My math was off (thought colgate was $1 ECB not $2, forgot to add in Nexxus ECB), so I should have spent more ECBs to lower my OOP. I always try to spend whatever I'm earning, so that my OOP reflects my actual spending and I keep ECBs "in the bank." Should have had OOP at $2.50 for all that stuff.

I'm a big Kashi fan, so this was a great deal for me!
