4/20 confusion

I know better to believe anything that CS says but this is what they told my friend today.

You will no longer receive the $4/20 coupon when you enroll or sign up for a new card (even though the link is still active on the website). If you call and register your card, they will issue a $4 courtesy CRT.

How about it? Anybody else hear this one?

My mom got her card in the mail yesterday. She activated her card around 11 am and signed up for the emails around 8 pm and got the coupon.

I recieved my card in the mail the other day, but haven't used it yet. and i never recieved the 4/20 coupon. Do i have to use it first?

Here's what is says on the CVS web site

Coupon will be sent via email to the address provided. Limit one per customer. Please allow 24 hours for email to be delivered. If you do not receive the email in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.

I heard they are doing away with the 'update' 4/20 that you get when you update your info online. But the welcome ones will still be emailed to new cardholders.

i only got the $4crt not the $4/$20 coupon.I was also told they are doing away with the $4/$20.

I updated my cards today and got 4.20 updated coupons immediately emailed to me so I know the updated ones still work.
