I just came back from my lunch run to CVS. I had 3 of the advil IP's and the manager told me that I can only use 1. I said I've never had this issue before. She said they had just received an email that they can only take 1 IP coupon. You can't use 3 of the same IP coupons. Has this happened to anyone? She told me to go on the website to confirm it but I can't find anything on the website.
i think i would freak out if my store did that to me!!

Well I use more IP at Kroger than I do at CVS but I was hoping to stock up on the advil while I had the coupons! It's not like I don't make at least 1 trip a day anyways! I have so many close to me I can't help but stop on my way home from work!
A couple of weeks ago the manager told me the same thing when I tried to use more than one of the BOGOF Sobe IP's. Said there are problems with copies of IP's. I tried to explain to him that the numbers are all different & they have the dot-scan barcode which means these are all originals. I guess if you try to make copies it won't appear on the copies. Meanwhile my sister called CVS who asked to speak to the manager & they must have set him straight as he told the cashier I could use them. Don't think he was too happy to find out he was wrong.
Well on my way home from work I stopped at a different store and had IP's for the sudacare that I found on clearance and not a word was said when I handed him 2 of the coupons...so.....I think she was just trying to be difficult! These people kill me! They act like you're the plague when you walk in there with coupons! Like they don't get paid back or something!! UGHHH!! She also made the comment that since my coupon was for $1 and the advil was only .99 she could only take off the .99. I said no problem I don't expect you to give me a penny!! GEEZ!!!!!!!!
I ran into this on Wednesday with duplicate mfg qs. I had 2 for the Lifesavers and 2 for the Advil. They only would take one per transaction because the coupon read one per purchase. No matter what I told them they wouldn't listen. It really didn't make any difference money wise but it took twice as long to get out the door.
Nope, one store will not take any at all unless they are from CVS, but the other stores as long as they scan they do not say anything. Although I never use more than 2-3 of the same one at the same time to avoid having a problem then or in the future with them, even though I have access to a lot of computers and print out 20+ in the span of a few minutes.
