EEK! limit on ECB's per transaction **RUMOR**

So.. I'm talking to my friend who also CVS's... who was talking the manager of her local store. This is what she found out.

#1 - Her store accepts expired ECB's ! YAY

#2 - Starting in September, CVS has plans to only allow one ECB CRT per transaction.

This manager told her that her store was pushing corporate to leave it as is, allowing customers to use multiple ECB's per transaction, but that as far as she new, the plan was to discontinue that policy and "go back to" one ECB (whatever denomination that may be) per transaction.

Anyone else heard this? I'm pretty new, so I didn't realize the program used to work differently. This particular store is in Mansfield, TX... DFW area.

I just started back shopping at CVS. If they implement a plan like you described, I won't be returning.

I would think that it would just cause multiple transactions??

I have a hard time believing that. There's no reason for them to limit how many ECBs we can use b/c they get reimbursed by the manufacturer that sponsers the ECB. They would be limiting their own income and annoying faithful customers.

they would so so hate for me to take my buggy full of items and ring them up one or two at a time so I can pay with ECBs.

yes this dosent sound practical, we receive more then one ecb at a time....I think its more misunderstandings

on the side note..i believe they would hate us more if they limit like that..imagine how many transactions and angry customers they would have? how many corp calls a day lol

Surely, witht his new policy they would loose a ton of customers thus effecting their bottom line.. I for one, would take my moola else where.
