The Accu Chek monitor is in the ad for $9.99 and get back $9.99 ECB making it free.

But the good thing is if you register you monitor you will get your purchase price back plus coupons for lancets and drums. Since you paid $9.99 and did not use a coupon you don't have to worry about the rebate not being honored.

However, i thought i read a while back if u use ecbs to pay for your monitor, they will not honor the rebate..

I think that is true if you use a MQ to pay for the monitor. But ECBs are just like money. The rebate should be fine.

Some people have posted before that their rebate for a monitor was initially turned down b/c they used ECBs to pay and it showed a low or $0 oop, but generally it seems that if these people call and argue the point of ECBs being 'earned' money that normally they do eventually get their rebate. I have not tried a rebate where I did not pay cash oop, though.

Notice on the front of the package there is a blue square that says SAVE UP TO $65. When you open the package there is info telling you to register your product and they will refund your purchase price up to $40 plus send coupons for drums and lancets. You will need to also send in original dated receipt.

Thie is the monitor DH uses all the time and I have gotten these rebates in the past. Since I bought one on each of our cards I will send 1 rebate to our home in MD and 1 to our home in TN.
