My first REAL couponing experience at CVS

was pretty good.

I spent $25 oop for about $85 worth of goods.

I went to 2 different CVS stores....a mile apart...so not to bog down one cashier and to be able to use a $5/$25 coupon and a $4/$20 coupon.

Both cashiers were great. They had no problem ringing up the $1 Advil Qs for the travel sized boxes.

I apologized in advance for all of the coupons, but neither cared.

I even told one young cashier about this website and she is very excited.

I want to thank everyone for all of the tips and help!

I just got back from my first CVS experience.

I got $45 worth of product for $24 OOP. I only walked away with $2 ECB.

I got $6 in ECBs.

I am trying to not buy stuff that I really don't need.

Everything that I bought today...I use.

Especially the vodka.

you did great.. I'm a newbie, too; this is my 3rd week CVS'ing and I spend $17 oop; savings for today $71.00 and I got $11.50 cash back... I was soo excited....

I just love CVS.... I keep telling everyone about this side and CVS; I got soo much stuff the last 3 weeks; I do buy however stuff that I need but not right now, like they had Huggies baby soap and after $1.00 cp and $2.00 cash back it was $.49 each, so I got a bunch a few weeks ago and today the razor was b1g1 and $3.00 cp in papaer ( I had 4, so I got 2B1G1 deals, paid $2.00 each of those expensive raizor things.. can't beat this.....

What was funny was that the cashier at the second store wrote down this website and couldn't believe that I had so many coupons. Then she pointed me toward the new scanner in the store.

She said that she lives at home and her Dad doens't like her surfing the web too much. I told her to hit the library or heck, come to my house to find and print these deals.

The first cashier was mad that she couldn't print alot of the coupons.

So, all in all, I had a good experience and will continue doing this forever.

Congrats to you guys! I love CVS. My husband tells me that I am crazy...don't let anyone de-rail you from your shopping! Have fun...and don't make a chore out of it!
