Thumbs Up Excellent use for soyjoy

Those who have got the soyjoy bars from the CVS deal this week and don't know what to do with them as no one you know will eat them, feed them to the birds any of your fruit or suet eating birds will enjoy this as well as you get the pleasure of watching the birds. The little downy and hairy woodpeckers from my area love all of them as do nuthatches, carolina wrens, and because of the pieces of fruit saw a couple of robins picking at some as well. You can even put them in your suet feeders and the are no melt in the heat!

I did a quick google research on soy for dogs, and came to the following conclusion:

A couple Soyjoy bars here and there won't hurt them.

The only thing I saw was that dogs that were fed soy instead of meat on a constant basis had some skin problems, but that wouldn't pertain here. We're talking about a soy joy bar for a treat every now and then, not a steady diet of it.

Yep! I used to feed them to the ducks until my kids started eating them.

Yeah - these things are not tasty - I wonder if my dog would even eat them? She is actually quite picky about people food!

You can always donate to food pantry. Food pantries around the country are being affected by raising grocery prices AND more people are turning to them because of this too! so it's a vicious cycle. Please donate if you can.
