JC Penney gift cards at CVS

A co-worker had told me that we can use JC Penney giftcards/ credit cards at CVS. I decided to email them and yes indeed you can!
I'm happy because I get points that I can convert into GC- now I know to get JC Penney's and have virtual no oop when I shop!

Oh that's so wild. I was just thinkin' the other day about how the CVS here used to be Eckerd & my JCPenney's card was always accepted there. So cool!

Wow. That is news! I always passed up opportunities to do JC Penny rebate gift cards because they are too pricey for me and too far away. This info changes that for me! Thanks. Repping you!

Wow, that's crazy--I never would've guessed! Does anyone know if it goes the other way, too? Could you use CVS gift cards at JCPenney?

I doubt it but I've never had anyone try. I wish I could use my JCP employee discount at CVS!

When my CVS used to be Eckerd, we could even use JCPenney coupons at Eckerd. Now, wouldn't it be killer if we could use those $10/$50 or even the $10/$10 from JCPenney's at CVS?

I called and she verified the JCPenney credit card, but couldn't verify the GC or coupons. Said I had to call back when the manager was there.

Oh well, sleep is overrated anyway...
