Cub Foods ~ Question: cub: overage and b1g1 questions

1) does Cub allow 2 MQs on B1G1 sales?


2) weather b1g1 or regular/sale priced, do they allow overage or adjust coupons down?

I've always been able to use 2 MF Qs on BOGO deals. I give them the MF Qs first and have never had an issue... but I haven't had a situation with an overage before - sorry!

1) If I have a good cashier, they allow it. If my cashier hates coupons, they won't. It really does depend on the cashier - even though using two MQs on a BOGO sale IS legit.

2) Same thing with #1. It all depends on the cashier. Some cashiers think that since the coupon says $___, I should get the full amount. Most adjust it down to the price of the item though.

I had a few cents overage on some kraft BBQ sauce and they wouldn't allow it. They adjusted the coupon down because it beeped. The manager came over and they said it was their policy... I wasn't going to argue :-)

The only time I've ever had an overage situation was with the Kraft BBQ sauce coupons. They beeped when my casheir scanned them and I told her it was because the BBQ sauce was .89, not 1.00, so she just manually entered .89. I think some cashiers would probably just push them through though if you showed you bought the right items. As for using two coupons on B1G1 deals, I've never had an issue.

I was buying the electrol Finish tablets on sale for $4.99 B1G1 I grabed 10 the cashier put all my $2.50 Q's in and the last 5 only took off $2.25 I told her that was fine she wanted to figure out why this was happeing and noticed that 5 were free called the manager over who told me I could only use 5 Q's since I was only really buying 5 needless to say I had all 10 removed from my order I will try again at another store this was the 2nd store I was at worked no problem at the first each Q took off $2.49 I guess I'll go back to that one!
