Yes I read it on here too about freezing milk. I tried it once with not a full gallon just to be sure we were ok with drinking it after it was frozen & it was fine. But we are a family of 6 here too & go through at least 4-5 gallons/week. But I'd have no problem stocking up & freezing at a great price!

The cashier was all ready to discount it the full 4.50 as it is one of those "write in the price and key in the discount" coupons, but she hesitated at the end and said that "you can't do that" so she gave me 2.99 off (although isn't it only supposed to be 2.48/2.49 as that was half the price of the twin pack on sale??..oh well). So, I think it's going to be case by case depending on what cashier you get and how they interpret it.

I've also read that you can freeze milk but I've never tried it-family of 6 here- no worries about milk going bad
So, can we use a coupon from another week's sale? That would be awesome if we could. I never thought of using a past week's coupon at Cub. Since they take expireds, do they take their own expireds? suzycoupon ... When you said you used the week before's coupon, is that how you did it? TIA!

I think it was because it was a catalina - and had a two week time frame on it. (At least mine did) As far as I know they don't take their own expireds unless it's a raincheck item. But I could definitely be wrong.

Just think of the possibilities!!!!! :)

They give me dirty looks now when I've got the GM deals where they give $15 off and then have a bunch of coupons to make it under $7 for 10 boxes of stuff.

suzycoupon is on a distinguished road
Default Re: Ad for week of April 20 - 26

Yes, the milk coupon I was referring to was one of those coupons that were Catalina-generated (after buying a mountain of GM cereal) with a two week window of use and I used it the next week when it was still active. Coincidentally the Cub Twin packs of milk were also on sale that week.

I know they do not accept any of their own expired circular coupons from the newspaper but do accept manufacturer's up to 3 months after expiration. Not so sure about any of those Catalina's that are generated there, but are courtesy of other companies....

Now back to reality ...
