Which one of my brothers would be enough to cover the taters? The 6 ft 5 or the 6ft 3 one?Originally Posted by flash

2 pounds baking potatoes (5 - 6), peeled and cut into chunks
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 cups chicken broth, vegetable broth, or water
1/2 cup hot whole milk or buttermilk
2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste
Put the potatoes, garlic, and bay leave in the crock pot. Add enough broth to completely cover the potatoes. Cover and cook on HIGH 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours, depending on size of potato chunks.
Drain in colander over a bowl, reserving the liquid and discarding the bay leaf. Return the potatoes to the cooker, add the milk and butter, and mash, adding some cooking liquid to adjust the consistency to your preference. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and KEEP WARM/LOW until serving (up to two hours).

Well, my brother is 6 ft 5...but I'd never let him cover them, he'd eat it first.Originally Posted by queenofthehivemomof5
