Thumbs Up Do you pay an annual fee?

Im constantly getting upgrade offers from my credit card companies but I really cant justify paying a fee to use them, even though some of the perks are appetizing.

Nope. BECU here. They charge a low percentage if your bill is not totally paid off and no fee. I won't pay a fee. I don't care about perks. My card is for emergencies only.

I got the pre-approved Amex with annual fees but higher cash back but I fought the temptation and won. I still use the ones with no fees and no tiers when giving cash back. I use CCs like cash and don't carry a balance.

I've noticed the 1,2,3 percent TV ads of BoA but I remind myself of all the headaches from this bank based on all feedbacks, so I don't give in

I get offers all the time as well for better perks with an annual fee... but I won't give in. I use Chase & Discover. We have a Citi card open but it sits in a box, unused. I get pretty decent rewards, great APRs & NO fees... So I am content.

I have went 20 years no fees and no balance taking advantage of the 1st year annual fee waived, but this year I will be paying a fee. I have decided that the Chase Saphire rewards is worth not cashing out my points so that I can take advantage of the benefits in the following year. I would be surprised if pay it again next year because 95 is pretty high, but I do really like the card.
