It's Discover Card calling to offer a service or some such crap.

I kept getting calls from this number and they would never leave a message. Looked it up online and found that it was Discover and also found a number to call to opt out of these calls. I did it and hopefully it worked.

    The number is 1-800-225-5202.

UGH! We have been getting these calls for months, but from 7821. Thank you for finding that out! Did you just google the number? I should have done that too! Going to see if I can figure my number out now!

I googled the number, it was Discover as well, found out their privacy number and called it to opt out of Third party solicitations:
    1-800-225-5202
or write to us at Discover Card, P.O. Box 30961, Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0961

I hope this works, they call 2 times a day, EVERYDAY!
    Happy New Year!

FYI-- there is a website where you can look up numbers like these, as well as tell others about a number or numbers that aren't listed yet... somehow, I've apparently deleted it off my Favorites list, but when I did a search for it, I found:

    CallerComplaints.com

It doesn't look like the exact same site I found before, but it's similar... At any rate, if it's not already listed there, this could be helpful information for others that post at that site... HTH, and I'm glad you found a way to stop the calls!

Actually this worked out well for me. They offered me a rate reduction to 1.9% until the end of Dec. on my current balance.

The call was intially to encourage me to use it to get the cash back rewards. When i told her I was trying to get out of debt she offered me the lower rate.

I answered this call and for once a person picked up, said he was with Breast Cancer Awareness...I hung up. What a joke. They do not seem to be affiliated with Discover, I called them and they said that since I had privacy on my account they do not share my info with affiliates, and this is not one of them.
