I found mine at Office Depot they are by the binders and are called trading card protectors.
Regular sized green coupon book w/large rubber band attached to it. My name & phone number labeled to the front and have had someone at the supermarket turn it in when I left it behind

I use a binder. I have dividers with categories labeled and trading card protectors, they have 9 divided slots and are a good size for coupons...I have to fold the long ones and really wide ones but other than that it's perfect. Some people file alphabetically but I like the categories so that when I am on the cleaner aisle I can look at my cleaner section and not miss anything. Just find what works for you.
I also bought some of the zippered pencil pouches and put in it...one for each store(Kroger's, Randall's, Walgreen's, and CVS) and one extra one(that I use for dollar stores and stores that I don't shop at regularly-Target,Wal-mart-wow can't believe I said that...I use to shop mostly at WM but my goal is to not have to go in there again and I'm working on it). They are different colors and I put the store coupons in there and an envelope with the current week sales ad coupon match ups and I am going to put an envelope in there for future week ad match ups but haven't got that far yet. I also keep store info(coupon policy, ECB info, ES book, etc.) in there so I can find it easily. I keep my sales ads and lists in the pockets of the notebook.
I take mine in the store with me now and it's not a hassle, just put it in the child seat of the buggy. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to but I decided I was going to worry about what someone might think about me carrying a notebook in with me to go shopping b/c it was saving my family money and there's nothing wrong with using coupons...that's what they are there for. I did have a Walgreen's manager comment on it once...she saw me as she passed the aisle I was on and stopped and said I don't know how ya'll all do that I'm not that organized. I would never be able to figure it all out. LOL If only she knew. And I had a cashier at another Walgreen's tell me that I was so organized with my notebook and said that there was another lady that comes in there all the time with a large notebook too. I wonder if she is HCW or not hmmm. maybe I can find her and we can be shopping buddies.
Sorry for my rambling. I'm new to this too so in time as I get more coupons my binder may change but for now it works for me and it's easy to use. HTH

I'm trying out a new method. I used to do the binders and baseball cards, but I think that helped some to when I got burnt out about a year ago.
I'm using a photo box now, picked it up at WM for like $5. It came with a few dividers and I've put in some taller envelopes to use as more dividers. It's worked really well. I keep most everything in there. In the back I keep a biiiig envelope full of coupons I won't use and things I have for trades, then I keep that laying weird to act as a 'book end' to keep everything from falling over inside.
I also have a small coupon accordion file divided into 'what I'm going to use this trip' and then categories. All of the ones that are stored there permanently are going to expire at the end of the month so I know 'these are important to use if possible'.
I also tried to use the 'whole insert, no clipping' method. Wow, not for me. What a mess >.<
wow thats a great idea i never thought of using the binder :)
This is what I'm using right now. I like that it has a lid so they don't get wet or spill.

I found some card holders at Meijer. They were in the collectible cards section (near toys etc.) There are 35 sheets with 9 slots each. They are $6.29 a pack.
I found card holders at office depot in the binder accessories section.
Also you may check dollar stores and baseball card shops.
I am amazed at how hard you girls work at this. I am brand new to this and hope that it can help even a little bit since I only have a family of 3!! Every penny I save will be some help!
