I hope this helps I see alot of people reading but no one posting so here is my small suggestion:
    break Down Regular grocery to:
    9. Meat
    10. canned goods
    11. pasta/mixes
    12. baking
    13. Bakery/deli

I play around with my box and labels all the time.. I also put them in alphabetical order. I hope this helps...

I like a slot for the coupons I plan to use and another for items I actually put into the cart.

I have a category for each store I go to.. so I can put the ones I want to use that day there... I also found it necessary to break up HBA just because there are so many types.. eg.. shampoo.. soap... aspirin.. it makes it easier to find a coupon if I spot a deal... :)

Wow, mega thread. I have only read some of the newest and first posts. I was wondering if there's a good 6" x 9" accordion type of organizer. I think that might work best for me. I don't want to carry something large. I love the priceplanner binder size and look, but then I would have to cut my IP coupons better or fold them. I might just have to fold them or figure out another work around.
New here but have excellent eBay feedback...

I am trying to work out the best way for me too. I loved my Price Planner but have out grown it. Right now I have a binder (used the extra Price Planner labels for the tabs) but don't want to carry a binder into stores. I got a plastic coupon accordion file from the Dollar Spot at Target and currently use that with dividers for each store for my carry-in coupons that I plan to use according to current sales. I keep the binder in the car just in case.

Still not sure what will be my best bet. I think you have to try a few things until you know what works for you. I am like you, the PricePlanner looked more like a DayTimer type organizer and was less conspicious. I hate to stand out :-)
