Since I shop at 4 to 6 different grocery store chains and at least 4 different drug stores, it would make me nuttier (than I already am) to have it organized by store aisle. I don't even have a favorite store, my favorite changes week to week and deal by deal.

Oh lord I didn't mean by store! I meant in general (like Frozen)

I'd go insane if I tried to go store by store too :D

Sorry if that didn't make sense when I wrote it

Re: GIANORMOUS Coupon Binder Found at CVS

I too am using a binder now, and it is awesome. I have dividers with various subjects (i.e. bulbs & batteries, air fresheners, breakfast, hygene, meats, diary, detergent, etc.) then i bough the baseball card holders at walmart for like $1.25 for 10. i have about 100 of those in there right now and still have plenty of room. makes it so much easier to find the coupons you need as well as find the ones that are about to expire because all you have to do is scan the pages.

It holds a ton of coupons...I should post a pic sometime...

LOL...there it is...my big 'ol briefcase. DH estimated that when it is full it can hold 10-12,000 coupons. Top weight was 17 lbs...the kids weighed it in an attempt to be excused from carrying it...LOL
where did you find those A-Z cards at. I like your idea and might try it for myself. I hope you know what I'm talking about. jamie

it's official ~ i switched to the binder :) i found baseball card holders at WM today for 4.25. each pack of pages holds 270, so i bought 4. that oughta hold me for a while! i found a caseit at target, but none on clearance, so i got the one for 9.99. i'm in love! i stuck 2 pks of the card holders in there and started stuffing the pockets with q's... the other 2 pks i put in a binder that DH (unwillingly) gave up for the q's i have to trade with.

Mommyof3...I think it might have been Office Depot, but don't remember for sure. I like them because the tabs are plastic coated and have held up very well. I did have to cut them to fit in the spaces.

Mike...Lots of times I am asked to see in the case, but not because they think I am stealing. Because they know I have coupons in there and want to get a better look.
I had posted somewhere before...Only once did they ask to see it while exiting a WM...I told them 'no, I had brought it in with me' and they didn't say anything else about it.

Can anyone help to guide me....Im trying to figure out what kind of binder you all are talking about!

Right now I have a small according type holder that says it is for soupons but it is packed full and when I want to trade or need to see if I have that coupon it takes me forever to find it!!

How can I make this all more organized and easier...also do you clip out the coupons or keep them in the actual insert sheets??

A binder like you took to school when you were a kid. 3 ring, with a zipper or Velcro closure.

To use a binder, coupons must be clipped. I clip all of mine.

For years I kept coupons by category, and rarely used them because it was too much of a hassle. For the past few months I've kept them alphabetical, and find it much, much easier. As queenofthehivemomof5 says - that's how my mind works! I'm using a 5x7 accordian file from Target, and just toss them in behind each letter divider. It's sooo much easier for me than categories...
