I count the trips to the store as driving in to their parking lots. So, like last night I hit 4 Stop&Shops, 2 Shaw's, 3 A&Ps, 2 ShopRites, 2 Walgreens, and 5 CVS. Total OOP spent was about a buck cash, and maybe $20 of gift cards. Total value of the stuff I picked up was well over two grand.
Highlights include the following -
Campbell's gravy - ~400 cans
Reynolds crock pot liners ~50 boxes
ziploc bags ~ 60 boxes
ziploc containers ~ 60 pkgs
Pillsbury pizza dough/bread etc. ~60 pkgs
Hunts tomato sauce ~ 90 cans
Krusteaz pancake mix ~ 48 boxes
Hungry jack pancake mix ~ 220 boxes
Prego pasta sauce ~ 60 jars
Glucose meters - only 2
Toothpaste - 40 boxes
Lots of overage on produce/dairy/bakery/meat/deli etc.
Lots of peeles/rainchecks/Turkey points for future deals
Fliers for next week
Multiple gift cards
Having 24 hour stores, and unlimited triples, really helps. As does a good sense of how the machines work, so I can avoid having problems/arguments with cashiers really saves a lot of time.
I came home at 2, unloaded an put away the perishables, cleaned the bathroom, mopped the floor, and got my 3 hours sleep.
