    Default Restarting couponing

Alot of changes have taken place and well I had zero time to clip let alone shop. I hated paying full price for items but knew it was very temporary.

So over the summer I finally started up again and had a nice little stockpile set up before heading to vacation in Maine. Came home to an empty pantry(someone swiped everything leaving 1 of each item )and a hubby losing his job made me more determined but first I had to find a safe location for our food to be kept.

So now I have a place to store our food but I am so far behing on my coupons. I am trying to build them up but cannot accumilate them like I was able to when we lived in Maine. I get 1 Sunday paper and internet coupons. So its slow going but you guys helped me the first time and I know you all can help me the second time around.,

Well, you are already a TNT which is a great place to start. You can now, I believe, participate in RAOKs which would help build up your inventory of Qs. More Qs means having more of the ones you need and being able to make additional trades with the rest.

Ask friends and neighbors for their unused inserts, I get most of mine this way.

When I was just starting out, I bought mixed bag lots from ebay, they are only $1 or so and usually contain at least 100 Qs.

I am gearing up to restart more 'hardcore' couponing too. I guess my first line of business is to start getting a paper every weekend and start clipping, I hven't gotten papers every weekend the past 8 months since my dd was born. I don't know, we should start a couponing retraining thread or something. My mind has gone out of 'deal' mode mostly kwim? I am out or running low on thing that a year ago i never thought i would be paying real money for like dishwasher liquid, shampoo and conditioner and picking up target diapers in the value boxes, oh my, lol and toilet paper is scarce as well, just finished up my stockpile of that too.

so for me, guess my first line of business, inventory, make up a must need stockpile list and start clipping and doing match ups. I used to have my buy prices memorized, need to restart it, from what i have seen that TLC show has been negatively impacting couponing and I missed most of that since I wasn't couponing much since the show started.
New baby in the house so I am couponing lightly!
