In my experience, sales cycles usually are anywhere from 8 - 16 weeks. That means, when you see a deal, you can expect to see a similar deal 8 - 16 weeks later (Others may have another opinion.) The trick is finding what the lowest deal is during the sales cycle. That will just take time.
The biggest piece of advice I give new couponers is expect to make a few mistakes in the beginning. It's part of the learning process. Well, I still make them and I've been doing this for 2 years! But just work through what your best price is through trial and error for your target products. It will really only take you a few weeks to get a pretty good feel for it.
