Discounted cosmetics?

I'm really into makeup and trying products to see what I like ect. but I hate spending all that money.[Some drugstore lipsticks are close to $10 and some foundations are over $10]

What are your secrets for getting makeup discounted or as close to free as possible?

What stores are best for this?[Like which let you use two coupons ect.]

Honestly, the latest Covergirl coupon was the first opportunity to get cheap makeup in awhile. At least around my area. It used to be a lot easier between coupons & rebates. Now it seems that the best way to get it super cheap is watching clearanced items at the stores & coupling with coupons.
