    Default printable coupon expiration date

    Hello,

I am new to couponing and I have been printing off coupons online and have noticed that some of them have an expiration date being the day it was printed. For example I printed off the coffee mate natural bliss one which has today as the expiration date? Someone said this can be used 30 days since print? Do all printable coupons have the 30 day from print rule? Any help in understanding is appreciated. Thanks, Melissa

Most coupons have a 30 day from print expiration, but not all. If the manufacturer sets the date firm, it doesn't "roll" out the dates depending on print date, although those are rare.

And you'll find that some, but not all printables will 'reset', meaning once you've printed off the limit of two that most allow, after 30 days you can go back and print them again.

It's really not a set standard.

okay so firm dates are rare, when I printed some coupons off of coupons.com a couple days ago, i got some with expiration dates of December 27 or 31...are these just with the 60 days(I read some have a window of 60 days from print for expiration) from print date factored in or could I add an additional 30 days to this date?

an expiration date is set in stone. it expires the date it states at midnight. you can not add to this date and expect stores to accept this.

now this rule does not apply if your stores allow expireds. a very very small amount of stores do allow expireds.

a majority of coupons are 30 day rolling, some are 60 and others are 90. then you get a few that are 6mths set. or the end of the year set. really it can vary. some even have 7 days aor 10 days.

now i printed that natural bliss this morning and got 30 days expiration. not sure how you managed with 1 day..but computers never cease to amaze me.
