Oregonian Newbie
Hi All! I'm new to the couponing world. I've heard that it is hard to find great deals in Oregon because no stores double coupons (except the 4 allowed by Safeway/week). My most overwhelming issue is the number of grocery stores I have within a 2mile radius along with drugstores! Do I just pick 1-2 stores and stick with those? I feel like I'm constantly wondering who has the best sale and feeling like I'm spending SO much time grocery shopping if I'm going to 5 grocery stores and 2 drugstores! How do you avoid getting overwhelmed?

Re: Oregonian Newbie
I would suggest you take 10 items which you usually buy and do a price comparison from the various stores in your area. Pick one or two stores based on your list and get to know their store policy on coupons. Than add a store as you feel able. Once you have a stockpile going it will be easier because you will have a better feel for pricing in your area. It is overwhelming in the beginning. There is so much learn with 1000s of products and coupons. It does get easier. You will make mistakes or find you could have bought x at store z for 20 cents less but you'll get better. Don't make yourself crazy.
