Usually over 50%. My best shop was 78%. This week was 50% (spent $53 on $106 worth of items) and last week was 57% (spent $80 on $191 worth of items.)

My store doubles 5 coupons per transaction with a $25 minimum purchase requirement after store sales and store coupons are subtracted, although a few times I accidentally noticed they base the $25 on the shelf price and not the sale price. (I still try to make sure I meet the $25 after sales/coupons though - no cheating!)

So the max I can save with doubled coupons on a single transaction is $10 and the rest are filler items to meet the minimum. (Usually using sale items I need anyhow or produce - with a coupon over $1 face value that wouldn't double anyhow if I have them!) I usually save the most with bundle deals, stacking and catalinas. I usually end up doing 2-4 transactions but try to keep my OOP around $50 for my budget. Like others, my OOP can vary because one week here will be a great stockpile item. (Last week I stocked up on Campbell's cooking soup, chicken breasts and granola bars.) It took a few months, but now that my stockpile is bigger and better, I'm finding it easier to meet the $50-ish budget. I used to spend as much as $200 a week and my goal (which I thought was doing well) was to keep it below a whopping $150!

I'm in the dreaded LOND (land of no doubles) So my savings are lower than someone like $Saving. I have 1 chain grocery store (Winn Dixie - overall 55%), Walmart (40%), Target (55%) and the rest are local or family owned stores (25%) The drug stores though, thats where I save the most, average about 90% or more each week. (overall all: Rite Aid 91%, CVS 90% and Walgreens 85%)

As long as I'm staying within my weekly budget, that is all that matters.

See - the LOND really isn't that bad! You save around the same amount as I do and my store does do some doubling.

I think the Land of Doubles is a mythical land that doesn't really exist! LOL! Does anyone know of a store that has unlimited doubles (with no restrictions or minimum purchase requirement) that doesn't have prices higher than average?? (Although, I have to admit $Saving lives in Coupon Wonderland with her Harris Teeter store!! But really, how common is that?)

My average is around 70%-75%. I shop primarily at Safeway and we have unlimited doubles up to $.50. Kroger (King Soopers here)doubles but limit 3 like coupons so it requires multiple in and outs there.

This best desribes my story of shopping at stores these days.

I'm at about at an average of 40-45% savings per shopping trip. On a large shopping trip, I can use $40-60 in coupons & double/triples. I don't shop for certain items like produce, milk, and most meats at the one place in town that multiplies coupons. Usually my savings rate at the other stores runs about 30%, but the trip will be smaller and involve about $10-20 in coupons.

I will also say that I am still in stockpiling mode, but I'm just now starting to get to that sweet spot where we just need to buy things I couldn't freeze or store long term.

I wish I could be saving more than I am. It seems like the coupons I get are not the ones I need. I don't want to be forced into buying something I don't normal use. Do I settle?
