Mixing Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off

I hope I'm posting in the right place. I was wondering if 2 different items 2 different brands (make-up) I'm wanting and have coupons for both items already I see they are both on Sale at the same store with both brands have B1G1 50% off. Can I get both of them as the b1G1 and use both of my coupons I have on those items.

if you are shopping at walgreen and get items that are b1g1 at 50% off they may only let you use the b1g1 free coupon on the one that is 50% off not the one you pay full price for because they told me that you have to pay regluar price for one in order to get one for free.

Or they may will let you b1g1 50% off and get one more of the item to use your b1g1 free coupon on.

There's no where that says you have to pay full price for one to get a second for free. That's just made up so that the store only has to give you the 50% off one free.

I know but I sat there on the phone with the 1800 number for about 20 mins and they said it was up to the store mtg..
