Sorry just trying to get this all straight before I go to the store tonight and make myself look stupid

There is an add for Buy 1 get one 50% off I have 2 coupons for that item can I use both coupons on that? ($1.oo off ea. coupon) or is that really not a good sale?


Again just getting started with this and trying to only use coupons for things I need now. Later will be bigger savings.... my goal in 2 wks. start stocking before holidays and winter......

It depends on your store's policy. Typically yes you can use a coupon on both items, but definitely check before you buy and/or get rejected.

The term "good sale" is relative. When you're a newbie, almost anything is a good deal as long as you're paying less than retail. How much do you normally pay for the item? How much are you paying after coupons and sales? How much do you need the item? Right now, I will not buy toothpaste even if a store pays me because I have too much. That's bad when you won't buy something even when it's a moneymaker!

Its make up so when you need it because its almost gone and the 50% off the second I think its a deal... But is it a deal to one of you expert coupon shoppers? LOL

See in the bottom of your post [right hand corner] above me, there is a "quote" box, click on that and it will quote the other person when you click New Reply (I don't think it works if you hit Quick Reply). If you want to quote more than 1 post, hit "multi", then New Reply.

AFA your question, I would jump at makeup when its B1G1 50% off, esp if its a brand I prefer.

Aw, come on. You're not a real couponer until you look stupid at least once! lol We've all been there, don't worry about it. I've been doing this for over 3 years now and there are still times I get that look from the cashier that says "really?" lol
