Newbie tip/Oldie reminder

It is a good reminder. I make a real effort to remember but have had to retrieve envies from my box because I'd forgotten.

Also, I'm seeing WLs with long lists of wants which is good but not a hint of where to find the item. If someone doesn't want to take the time to tell me where an item can be found such as in an insert or printable and the date than why should I look it up?

There have been some WLs which carefully explain where a q can be found but every q is from inside the package, tearpads, or blinkie's which I've never seen. It would be nice to have a few q from inserts which I'd gladly share. I Want to share my unused insert q.

You may be speaking of mine. My wish list is very detailed and I do love rare stuff that I can use for my family. But I don't mind getting insert coupons in my trade/train envies since I do share alot of coupons with managers, CS employees at my HT store, give to employees at work and share with other family members.

I think everyone on this board is all at different stages in there stockpile too. So have tons of one thing like cereal for example and some have gaps in their stockpiles like me-laundry detergent. That may be why some wish lists are not so easy to fill a envie for.

I really like a combo wishlist that includes what that person's uses on a regular basic like drinks, cereal, etc-detailed inserts lists with date, type of insert (RP, SS etc) and some database entries. But this is takes alot of time too. Speaking of which I need to update mine once I get time so I can purge the 08/31 coupons.

HTH. And yes putting usernames on envies is the best way. I always try my best to do so because I want the same done for me.

I mailed 30 envies the other day, trades, envies and rebates. I thought I was going to lose my mind filling them all. Way to go on being that organized.

everprincess, I don't think we've ever traded. My statement was general. Keeping an updated WL is an ongoing process. It has taken me months to understand how to update without changing my signature and having to contact every Train mod. They've always been pleasant but I do hate to bother them. In the beginning I'd update every day and not understand why no one could see my WL.


08/31 will result in insert q's expiring and an opp to add more q inserts. My stockpile is more mature and all I need is a ton of Cascade from this next week.
