Sales/Coupon cycles - tea bags

I've searched the sales cycles threads and did a general search, but can't seem to find the answer to my question.

My family goes through tea bags in copious amounts. (mostly due to me). I currently have a coupon stockpile for red rose and lipton tea bags. They don't expire for a couple months. Right now Lipton is on sale at several places (though, it's not the greatest sale, imo) and I know that Red Rose was on sale in April (or was it March?). Is there a sales cycle for tea bags, or do they generally pop in and out of sales all year long? Every other month?

I could stock 20 boxes of these things and have it gone in 6 months, so the best info I can get for the cheapest prices would be very helpful. I'm pretty picky about my tea and Red Rose is the best for hot tea. It's the closest to English Breakfast Tea that I have found that's inexpensive. Lipton will be for iced tea (which will extend my Red Rose tea).

So far, at the sales now, I'm at $1.00/100ct. for Lipton tea bags. Should I be happy with that, or should I wait on another sale?

it seems like lipton tea, kool aid and lemonade are on sale in the summer.

the hot teas are on sale in the winter. along with hot cocoa

i believe their was a coupon for the lipton tea from last weeks unilver...wnat to say $.60/1 ....might go with your sale but i didnt get the coupon to tell you the limits on it.

Yah. I got the $1/2 Q. I got ten of them, so that is good. If I mix them with Target Q's, that will get me the cost of around $1/box or so.

I was hoping Red Rose would sale soon, as my last box is down to half. I can stretch it by drinking more iced tea, but it just ain't gonna wait until winter! Eek!

I make approx 1-2 gallons of sweet tea everyday and also drink hot tea in the morning wish I could find it for 1.00 a box, but I mix my tea bag, am on the last few of the 40 boxes of lipton I bought a year ago, but I mix my tea bags and so I buy cains and also luzianne which I never have coupons for but I can find them for around 1.50 to 1.80 a box and I guess that is ok I have been doing it for several years. If anyone knows where and when I can get any coupons for Cains, Luzianne, Tetley , I would appreciate it.

I am going to try the red rose since you like that....I also drink Numi golden chai for hot tea and it is the best. But have occasionally found a coupon but it is not cheap, 5 -6 dollars for 18 tea bags. You should try mixng the lipton with the cains, or luziane.

I'm not a fan of Tetley and not as familiar with Cains or Luzianne. I became a tea snob when I lived in England for three years. I was spoiled on Yorkshire teas. And Betty's Tea Room. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm. When I came back stateside, my tea experience totally changed. Before England, Lipton was delicious. Now? Meh... it'll do for iced tea.

And I have not found a store brand that I like. Many of them I can't even drink now.

My iced tea... I mix a third of a packet of lemonade in with a gallon of tea. That helps with the lesser approved versions. Or when we lived in our old house we grew mint. That was nice too.

I'll keep my eye out for tea Q's you mentioned and try to send them your way. I'm pretty picky, so I won't mind giving those brands up.
