Re: How long does it take you to shop?
Thanks everyone! Since I only got my coupon caddy today my coupons were not organized in any way. Daughter and I sat in the van, went through them and picked out the ones we were going to use. That took a few minutes. And because it was a store we don't often shop at, I didn't necessarily know where everything was. So that took a little longer. Also I prefer to make my list up in the order in which those items appear in the store. Since I had no list, I didn't do that today. And we found a tear off coupon in the store to save $1.50 on two bottles of soda if we bought two Mars candies. So we had to then hunt those down. But I think the whole trip was only a half an hour. Granted we did only buy 2 1/2 bags of food.

Re: How long does it take you to shop?
It will take 30 minutes if my list and coupons are ready. But, I'm still checking prices on nonsale items and that can take up to an hour per store. The trips are getting shorter because my stockpile is growing and now my shopping is more select.

Re: How long does it take you to shop?
I find I need to buy less these days as well. I have plenty of non-perishables. The only time I need to buy those is for those things we don't use much of like mustard. I just buy those one or two at a time as needed. And then there are things like produce, fresh meat, eggs, bread, etc. These are the things I usually go to the store for. And I usually have just one to three bags.
Today all I bought were 2 single serve Diet Cokes, a bottle of olive oil, dry roast peanuts and a snack cup of Nutter Butter. I had coupons for two of those items and the olive oil was also on sale. Apparently all of them were eligible for game pieces at Albertsons. Because I got five of them!
