It's all I can do to keep my coupons semi-organized along with the current ads...if I had to keep old ads too - I would be drowning in newspaper!

Im actually hanging onto the target black friday ad right now. there were several things that I wanted but they sold out before I got there, so my plan is to use that as a comparative shopping tool for those items. Im thinking I may not get as low a price but if I find somehting nicer or close I'll have the ad to compare.

Ive already pulled it out a few times to answer questions in the deel seeker forum!

I don't keep old sale ads. If I need to look at old prices I check the forums here at HCW and view the old ads that are posted. I do do that from time to time if there is a deal I want to track like when did such and such store do a Mega sale, doubles, Catalina deal, Case Lot sale, etc so that I can plan accordingly for possible future sales and what not.

I can see keeping maybe a few weeks worth if you are trying to learn best prices but other than that seems like more clutter and like others said coupons already come with their own clutter.

i do not keep old ads either,, but i do make a note on a shopping list of the price i saw it the cheapest and when... this is only on items that i buy regularly... if i stock pile something i make a mental note on that price. but that usually is something that i wont need for quite some time and prices seem to go up by then ... like others have said... too much clutter to keep the actual ads...

I kept over a years worth one time so I could write down the companies to start emailing at the beginning of the year. I kept them at work in the shipping room though so I wouldn't have them at the house.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

I don't want to be seen on the show Hoarders, so I junk them...or use them for packaging
