HELP I need help with saving when shopping

Hi everyone! I was wondering how to come to a good oop when shopping at places like Wal-Mart, Supermarkets, CVS, Walgreens, Rite-aid ect. I seem to do pretty good at Target, but that's about it. I do well at Target by matching there coupons to manuf. coupons. Thus getting a lower oop per item. So I'm wondering how do I get a lower oop elsewhere? How do you guy's do it?? Thanks for reading, and replying!

Drug stores will all require a certain amount of OOP. After that, it just comes down to rolling the rewards effectively. I have no advice for Walmart because I don't really believe they are that cheap. The only place in my area more expensive than Walmart is Kmart. As far as grocery stores, I think there are always going to be OOP expenses unless you live in wine tag country, which I don't. It's all a matter of buying things at their rock bottom prices with coupons and catalinas/frees/TMFs/rebates, etc.

    What's "Wine Tag Country"?
And yeah I think the only place's that I have ever gotten something COMPLETELY for free is Target, and CVS. When I use a coupon at CVS that say is a dollar off, and the item cost's $0.99 cents then I always get the item free, I don't even have to pay tax! Thats pretty cool if you ask me!

For Walmart...your looking for coupons that give you overage.

Also for me...I can't logistically go to other grocery stores on a regular basis that have better regular prices than wallyworld. Now I have one that I travel an hour to that doubles...but that's maybe a once a month trip. So basically I do most of my food shopping..especially cold/frozen food there...but nearly every single thing I get I use a coupon with or I get generic (things like cottage cheese as an example).

You want to look for coupons for products you use regardless...in particular cents or dollar off of 1. Which means I hunt through other grocery stores whenever I can, and I trade on the trains here. wine tags are another good thing to be on the look out for, or to trade for.

Walmart in general will also let you use a bogo coupon with a dollar/cents off of 1. So lets say I'm getting ziploc bags. I have a bogo free coupon. So i'm getting 2 boxes...I can use a 40 cents off coupon on the box i'm "buying". Now occasionally you get a coupon that codes a bit different and it just doesn't work...or get rude cashiers that don't understand you can do this...but I have the most luck at walmart.

    So in any given month.

I get what's darn cheap at wags.
What is good to double at the dillons (kroger store...that i have to travel to).
And anything I can get overage with I buy at Walmart and my general food and cleaning.

Here and there I can get to a target (also a loooooooonnnnngggg drive for me).

Now I'm in rural kansas...so that is why I end up being dependent on walmart. Go through the walmart threads here..see what is getting darn cheap or free and start with that.
